Passlock
first off happy new year!
now. monday my car was towed because it would not start. the next day it did. my mechanic said that it was passlock. and that passlock is malfunctioning. lastnight my car started fine, but as i was pulling out of the parking lot after work, it died as i was accelerating, and creeped as it stalled to the side of the road. then it wouldnt start again. left key in the on position 'Security' light was flashing then went solid. waited 10 min car still would not start. had it towed home again. now this morning the security light is still on, and obv the car wont start.
So im guessing i need a new system. but i wanted a car starter too, so Bestbuy has a Viper system. 1-way security and car starter for like 200. i know ill need a bypass. when they install it, will it work? or since passlock is screwing up will it screw up the new one too?
