I don't know, but its just a type of exhaust you don't come along very often, for myself, I have already seen something a bit like this, but can't remember where. I knew from you that it wouldn't be something ghetto but just wondered.
What are the particularities that makes this intake better?

You've been seeing Veilside and Virtual Works Supra manifold for $500? Please tell me where, I'll buy three.

What makes this better? It's setup properly for an LS1 throttle body, it's a lot more efficient in the use of space in my engine bay as opposed to the HO manifold. The size of the manifold is a bit more friendly to gulping in massive quantities of air. All my vacuum lines are in a nice lil neat area tucked under the manifold instead of all over the place. It's prettier, the head flange is perfect. There's nothing ghetto or hacked up with this manifold. It sparkles and sings to me.
Basically this is just something I wanted to do, and figured w/ a bit shorter runners it would accentuate my top end.

and as a bonus, you can probably change the starter without removing that manifold!

Thx for the explanation, appreciated. Killer set-up. Have you tested it on the 1/4 with all the new stuff yet?

I just drove the car all of 3 days ago. The next open test n tune is in middle of August. The only other event is NHRA Sport Compact, if I somehow get ready for that for THIS weekend we'll see what happens, but I'll be limited to 4 runs or less guaranteed.
I have to work some kinks out on the car and adjust some things here and there. I'm currently missing reverse, which I'm assuming is due to a wore out shift cable.

Well just saying and making a point, about the comment about intake anifolds costing $500. The good stuff costs money, people trying to get rid of parts you'll find it for $500 or you'll find inferior quality parts.
Like the amount of work that went into mine is rediculous. Never realized how much work it would take to do such a piece properly.
