Window Switches

This is kinda odd.

for some reason, my driver's side door switch stopped working. i could drop the passanger, but not the driver's window. And the passanger switch worked great.

so i get new doors and switches from Quad's sale... just replaced the driver's side switch... and now none of the switches work. I gotta reinstall mine and see whats up.

granted, its also winter, and its been MONTHS since my window stopped working... so i haven't tried them in quite some time. They might have stopped working a while ago.

other then the Switch LPS switch over in the passanger side fuse box, and the circuit breaker... do the power windows have any other fuses? (i'd imagine that circuit breaker doesn't go bad... ever)

close this.

i found out the harness wasn't pushed in all the way. which then it worked.

...temporarily.

put it all back together, it stopped. put the old back in, still nothing. swapped to the new, still nothing. swapped back to the old, played with the wires.. worked great. swapped back to the new, nothing.

something is messed up in the wiring. i'll figure that out when it gets warmer.

Sounds more like a motor issue to me.

Did you ever figure this out?

The only clue that I have is that Rock Auto seems to sell a lot of these.
