Seen the 'vert, never would have gotten it from the VIN, what the hell is the "zebra"? I've never heard of that one..

You wouldn't have gotten the convertible from the VIN for starters because the 6th digit is a 1, which is for a 2d coupe. It should be a 3 for a convertible.

He said he NEVER would have gotten it from the VIN or were you just elaborating on WHY he never would have gotten it...

The SC3 "Zebra" Alero had custom interior as in all the pieces were molded in blue plastic and painted with Tiger stripes blue leather seats with stripes, custom billet pedals with Olds logos cut out of them including dead pedal , leather floor mats with oldsmobile logos and tiger stripes sewn into them, , custom exhaust with custom tips, custom paint, and custom wheels with Michellin Pilot 18 inch ZR tires on them.

something like this but in a 2 door Alero

Does any body have pics of my car at these shows, I lost all of mine. HELP ME!!

That's strange, the original Chevy Beretta convertible prototypes (indy pace cars, and others) have a real convertible VIN.

i THOUGHT a private company did the vert alero, which would explain why the VIN isnt right. i could be wrong though.

I wish there was a bodykit that had the same outer shape of the 442 bumper covers...just different shape holes for the grills

You sure it was them? Was there an ID tag on the inside of the trunk? I thought i remembered them going under in the early 90s.
