memphis sub

ok i actually have 2 questions,,first off i already have a mclas 12 sub and it soulds ok but i think my amp is too much for it,,they offered me a deal to trade my sub in and get the m1 12,,is it worth the extra 100 bucks?

second question,,what would be a good amd for my mids and highs,,im looking at a memphis four channel but then i was talking to a guy about a zapco 2 chqnnel he said would be better off,,whats your views?
