If my alero had an extra 100 HP would you suggest a suspension upgrade? I have a GLX and was told that it came with a stock sport suspension.

What suspension would you suggest?

Also, I am wanting to install a new exhaust system. Any suggestions on brand?

alerored04 is an unknown quantity at this point
if you want performance suspension you might as well change it, the stock "sport suspension" isnt much more than words. i have intrax springs with kyb struts, it rides very nicely, a good firm ride while not being uncomfortably hard, just a little more than what is needed to feel the road, the drop is around 1.75 inches i believe. i dont remember where the intraxes came from but the kyb gr2 struts are off of tirerack.com, i got a pretty decent deal but i havent looked at price on em lately. as far as exhaust you most economical option is to find an exhaust shop and have them mandrel bend one, otherwise there is slp, i dont know the site, search and you can find it here on the site.

check summit for the intrax springs, i have intrax, kyb gr2's, speedbuilt strut tower braces, and rear swaybar, my suspension is very tight, but i like to feel the pebbles in the road.

as for exhaust your looking at SLP, or BORLA and they are both pricey, i have a custom catback, i had a flowmaster 40 at first but i recently changed to an 80 and it sounds great. and half the cost of SLP, and 1/3 the cost of BORLA.
