Problem

I have a 2001 GLS 3.4, I just put on a cold air intake on sunday, worked great sounded real well. Now my car is doing this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujQtvHOq_98

Any suggestions would be helpful a guy at my local garage said it might be the MAF.

The problem still persists. the computer brings up the code that the mass air flow sensor is bad. My car is now actually starting to shift hard and jerk and make a buzzing sound from the transmission.

I guess the first thing to do is to try a new maf sensor, anyone know where I can get one cheaper than ebay?

Well I installed the new MAF, The issue is still there when I start my engine (if it starts on the first try) It will run fine for about a minute or so. Then it will start to rev up and keep doing it while in park, when I am driving and my car slows down to under 1000k rpms it will do it also.

I am not sure what else to do...

Do you think it may be the IAT sensor? If so where is it located? Is it the next plug after the MAf?

Yes the SES light is on and it say's MAF circuit too low. I just put in a used MAF sensor from a 2000 alero, and the problem is still there? have any idea what may cause it to cammed?

I just said it sounds cammed because motors with performance cams like you would see in a Vette sounds like that at idle, it has nothing to do with your problem.
Have you checked all the wire that go to the MAF. If all the wires are fine I would get another MAF. The MAF measures the air coming in and tell the PCM how much fuel to give in the right ratio so the PCM is getting a mixed signal.

Yea I need to figure out a way to test the wires, to make sure one is not faulty.

I have not had a chance to pick up some electronic cleaner for the tiny wires yet but I will do it for sure this weekend. I do not have a volt tester.
