2 would be good, unless you can hold a hood on the hinges while you bolt it up yourself.

i've done it by myself, but 2 is easier, 3 is a tad easier than 2, and 4 is just plain crowded......i've done my hood many times......i actually need to put it back on as soon as i get home.....

i got it installed buti had to take out the rubber bumpstops . is this ok?in the middle and the drivers side is a bit taller thanthe fender. there is a slight boe. i cant bring the hood down but might be able to move the fender up. also ajusted the hood latch down for a better fit.

You might want to try playing with the alignment where you bolt it up to the hinges, I've never had my hood off do they still adjust them there? Moving the latch is probably why you had to take out the rubbers. Why is hood bowed was it hit or damaged while off/on? Did you mark it when taking it off?

Carbon fiber hoods will never fit right. Only OEM. I've seen soooooo many cf hoods on cars, and it doesn't matter how expensive or cheap they are they will never fit right. Good luck with it though
