I've got neons, I personally like the glow from them better than the glow from leds.

but neons can break, leds do not. thats the major benefit.
neons = glass tubing w/ gas inside
LED = plastic tubing w/ acrylic plastic lights inside. if one blows you don't lose them all.
i'm more partial to led ones. when i get my own set that what i'm getting. but to each their own.

depends on the guality of the led set, mine are very bright, and like i said they dont just sit "on" they will pattern to the beat of music.

if you go LED make sure it's a flat LED setup so you wont see little circles on the ground
i have ebay led's and they were only 60 bucks shipped, but they rock.

from the few people I've talked to that have used both, they said they like the look of neons, and they like the durability of LEDs. With LEDs picking up in quality (for looks), I would say go with LEDs.

I know what you mean, but I'm not referring to brightness. I'm talking about the glow that neons have that LEDs don't. LEDs look like lights, while neons glow

its all a personal preference. I have grown acustom too plain jain neons. You shouldn't have any trouble with streetglow, plus you get a warranty.

the very first set i had was an ebay set, it was descent, i had to disassemble 1 tube and resolder 5 leds but i only paid 35 bucks so i wasn't gonna gripe, but once i fixed that they worked fine. i really like the set i have now, but i want to upgrade again.
