yea but neons you also break the tubes alot easier....led circuit boards are more flexible..

plus fif u ge ta good kit you will have no dots and alot more light

even if you do get a set of LEDs that sorts show dots on the ground just get a frosted contact paper and cut it to maybe an inch and put it on the bottom of the tube it'll diffuse it a little but then you can always take it off later on.. it would even help from getting the tube all pock marked and all.. or go as far af to spray paint a frosted color on to it .. but i like the contact paper route can always change it if you dont like it
