we stopped at an oasis for gas...but bcuz the uhaul is considered a truck that runs on normal gas...gregg couldnt get near the regular pumps so we had to go through the truck area. WHAT A MESS, we waited til WI to gas up.
We parked in the semi parking, so we could go to the bathroom. When we came out, there were 2 truckers looking at my car trying to figure out what it was. When i told them, they were like wow, so much stuff on it couldnt recognize it. As we were leaving I overheard the one we were talking to say "wow, he so low I dont think he gets over to many bumps".
Between the rubberneckers and the truckers. pretty decent trip back home.

hehehe...between the a-hole Nascar fans before I hit Detroit and the idiot Ohio drivers and PA/NY boaters, my trip was frustrating...lol
not all Ohio drivers were idiots though. the ones that pissed me off were the ones going 55 in a 65 zone in the fast lane.

i know what you mean about the rubberneckers, randy. we kept holding up traffic in the left lane.
did get a lot of complements in the chicago traffic though.

I was so surprised about that though...but if you think of the people that go are ususally the older crowd anyhow...they like the raw old muscle cars more than our "young-at-heart tuner" Oldsmobiles.

that is very true, cousin (LOL)
i was shocked. normally we never win. so maybe this is a beginning of things to come.
i do know a couple people were pissed about the winners. maybe some of those old guys will bitch and we finially get our own class.

Yeah that would be something to get our own class started like 98/99 to present...we could get some competition from some Aurora owners then, eh?

for modified classes, we will need some people to write OCA and tell them to split it up into 3 groups....1950-70 70-80 and 90 to present
