my deck is a older model of a pioneer deh-6600
and i have a 4 channel amp and a mono amp for my sub...
the problem is that i only have 2 pairs of rca's coming out of my deck...
and for all of the amps to work...(properly)...i would need 3 pairs from the deck...
i was wondering what i could do to solve this...
i no that i could have a Y connecter and split one of the pairs that way...
but is there any consequences of doing this...

if this matters i have a front output pair, and a sub output pair....

ok...
well hopefully i will have pics up soon...
once i get a chance to get home and install it all...
probably this weekend...
thanks for all the help guys...

The best option you have is getting the spliter and using that on the sub output, and having that go to the rear channel on the 4 channel and then the sub amp.

What type of amps do you have?

That 350.4 amp has an output on it. Run the front outputs from the radio and plug them into the fronts on the amp(the 340.4). Take the rear outputs and put them into the rear input on the amp(the 350.4). Now on the 350.4 you have an output jack. Connect this output jack(the 350.4) to the input jack on the 600.1.

Use a line out converter on the speaker wires. This will give you the option to hook up via rca through all channels and still have your stereo. Check to ensure what channels the rca's are going to. Most of my previous HU's had the rear and front channel but not a rear or front with a sub out. If it is a sub out channel see what specs the frequencies are for that set of rca's. Some brands limit the frequencies to lower bands via a built in crossover. The other annoyance about using a sub out is that you will be fading your speakers via the sub control. since the rear channel volume would be dependant of your sub control, your subwoofer would have to increase gain inorder to conpensate for the loss of volume. So just make it easier and use a line out converter. Forget using the amp line out.

Your deck should have the option to turn the rear output into sub only then use a y adapter on the front output to power your front and rear

yup no fade control. If you want fade control your only real option is buying a better deck with 3 preouts instead of 2.

why not run the front output strait to the deck, and split the rears to the 4 channel and the sub amp, that way you can still fad the fronts from the rear/subs without adjusting the amp......or does that amp have a remote level control option?

Be aware that anytime you split a rca connection the voltage is cut in half. When using a sub and speaker on the same rca it is very hard to get a good balance. The sub needs a higher volume or voltage than the speaker to perform well. I would still suggest a Line out converter or saving for a new HU with three sets of preouts. The other option is a eq with sub control. For under a bill you can easily get a decent eq with sub out and four channels. The difference will be that you set the gain coming out of the HU and leave it. The eq adjusts the volume there after.

get the 9600.....BUT you should only need 2 sets of RCA's if you're running only 2 amps....
