alright this Is pissing me off.

Ok so I got my grand am mirrors today and was so excited to put them on. Seemed easy enough just unscrew the nuts from the bolts... um... no!!!!! None of my sockets will fit on the nuts just because the godDamn screws are too long. I even tried vice grips to loosen em a little... ain't happening. Has anyone else had this problem?

couldn't you also put a normal socket on them, then turn the socket with a pair of pliers?

deep well sockets are MANDATORY for any kind of auto repair, though.
