From my years of winter highway driving over the last few years, I've noticed the development of tiny little divits in the windshield. It isn't noticible most of the time, but sometimes (especially when driving into the sunrise or sunset) it makes it more difficult to see because it makes little bright spots in the glass.

Does anyone know of any kind of product that you can use to fill in the divits?

um.... glass repair center? lol. actually my parents work at an allstate insurance office. they had a window repair business come in and do a "demonstration" on their cars. it was an epoxy like substance...

not sure if its available for purchase.....

so in actuality... this post was worthless.... haha

i dont know of any retail product that you can do at home but i know that glass places do offer crack stopping epoxy that's injected into the crack and chip filler... you might as well just buy a new windshield though if you have a lot of them

My glass is horrible. I have a MAJOR crack in my windshield. From top to bottom on my drivers side. And on 4 out of 5 of my other windows they are either "etched" in to by sand/dust. or they have a heavy duty scratch in them.

I'm going to get my windshield replaced probably this or next week.
The place I went to said They would do my windshield for 170. And if I got my other 4 replaced they would do it all for 585.00

I think i will call the insurance agency tomorrow though.
