yep, as of right now, I say a prayer for it before I turn the key, and another when I put it into gear.

the logo for the meet would have to be an Anal/Lumbar Ideogram. (picture of an ass)

also, "anal lumbar ideogram" is an anagram for "Alero Malibu Grand Am". hehe

haha we are not going to figure out logos for anything just yet, we are going to get flags though, or magnets. Depends ..

I was either thinking a magnet we could put on the hoods like this one (Gumball 3000 Magnet)

or a flag like used at GAP

Whats your guys thoughts?

well good luck. i for one will not be able to go.

there is nothing wrong with 2 events for aleros. but you don't want them too close to each other thats for sure.

so are guys going to rent a track? be prepared for massive cost on that. also. before you guys go thinking about all these fancy things to give everyone you might want to figure cost of registration if your going to have one.

well at least you will have the GA people to do most of it.

Umm we will probley not rent the track, seeing as thats crazy expensive. Plus we don't see this being a huge huge event. If we got 25 cars, i would be happy. It's all just an idea now.

but if we can make sure everybody at least knows that there is an idea floating around, it might perk some interest and maybe some people can get some potential sponsors, or at least cheap free stuff to offer as door prizes and whatnot.

But we definitely need something in August because:
-August is sooooo boring as it is
-June has ASS and September has the Falls meet(s), July is typically busy for everyone anyway
-who else was actually going to take a vacation in August anyway? Getting time off should be NO problem, except for military people and newly hired people.

Question though:
is this just going to be for the LAST Gen. of the N-Body, as in 99-04 Grand Ams, Aleros, and 97-03(?) Malibus, or are we including all the Grand Ams, and modern Malibus also?

I haven't discussed that( The Years and Models) with Nick but I think anything will go there AlbinoMonkeyRat. As for door prizes and stuff, I think we could put together some prizes and stuff for the show, and also for the track. WE will figure this out as time passes, such things would be put into the cost and all ofcourse. I mean if we could get sponsors to give prizes that would be great, but we shall see. Thank you AlbinoMonkeyRat for supporting the idea

NYIRP (quarter-mile track in NY) charges $500 for renting a track for a group of 1-10 vehicles for a 6 hour session, and $50 per vehicle after that. I would assume the NJ track has a similar ballpark for the prices, correct?

I'd think that they would want to check out Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. I'm pretty sure thats the closest track to fleaside. Why not have something like this down in Wildwood, then go to Atco?

wildwood might be a good alternative too, seeing that it is a bit nicer of an area. and atco isn't that far away.
