The sad part about it was it's not like he lived that far away from where the show was held. Which ASS show was it that his power steering pump pulley broke and he couldn't find a replacement in time? and by "in time" we were taking 3 weeks out.

It was a broken rocker arm. Wasn't ava anywhere in Cape May County, NJ 
Other minor repairs, sure.
Besides, since I've gotten older, it seems that I look at problems a diferent way. That rocker arm thing, I felt like I was 18 again, trying to start my Nova with the busted timing belt.

I can understand that, but shit happens. It could happen to a brand new car just as easily and I think we've all experienced that frustration. You better bring Reddog.
