Picture of the front door?

Hi,

Anyone have a picture of the front door with the door panel off? (looking for the metal part, not the panel)

Can you fit a 6.5" in the front door? No window clearence problems?

Thanks,
Mike

I put in some 5.25"s and almost had clearance issues. It all depends on the speakers. If they are on the shallow side you will be safe. If its getting around 2.5+ inches deep, you may be in trouble.

^but wouldn't that sizer fix that issue?

also, how big of a sizer could you get before you start running into issues of having the door not fit? (unless that was the 2.5" you were talking about)

and the 6.5s i'm looking to get have a mounting depth of 2.6" am i boned if i get them??

Well I'm looking at the MB Quart RVF 164 mid bass woofer. It's 2.5" from the back of the magnet to the back of the lip. I guess it should work. If not, I'll just make it work.

I made some and they follow the stock angle.

At the tallest point its 2 1/4" and the shortest 3/8". It just barely clears. The magnet from my 5.25" almost hit the window.
