Hi
I've been a member for a few month's now and am just now getting around to introducing myself. My name is Brad and I bought a 2001 Alero GL2 in July. It has my favorite combo - the ecotec 2.4 and a 5-spd! It's my toy. I bought it from the original owner with only 38K miles on it! In the past I had a 99 Grand Am GT and a 2002 Grand Am with the ecotec and 5-spd.
I found this forum when searching for info on the infamous wheel bearing noise. Other than replacing the wheel bearing, I have done nothing to it. I'd like to get some new rims for it, it's due for new tires anyway (they're the originals.)

Hey, nice Alero. Clear the corners!
BTW it's the Ecotec 2.2L. Sweet combo. You should look into getting the M62 supercharger setup, would be pretty killer.
