my sister has 01 Alero and the speakers are making a loud screaching noise. (thats how she described the problem. ) the one speaker will do it even when the car is off. I've never had this kind of problem, is thier a short somewhere possibly, or are ALL of the speakers blown? Any imput would be great, sorry the description is vague. Oh and is the crutchfield spec sheet on how to remove the 99+ GA door panels the same as the alero?

the fact that the speaker will do it when the cars even off makes me think they are not blown cause blown speakers would not do that unless they are possessed. I have heard something about water leaking into the car near the front passenger door somewhere and getting on the bcm (body control module) and having trouble such as this or the radio turning off and on at weird times.......do a search for bcm or water or something like that to read more into it.
