mirror turn signals wireup

k, i found cavalier's post, but there was one other that i can't find (i think nate was the poster).

i want to do what cav did, putting the leds behind the mirror. does this require pulling off the door panel? how do i wire it to the turn signal?

gotta get the mirror off. (first problem) i actually broke one of my stock motors trying to do that. (tried after i got gt mirrors)

after running the lights you'll have to take the inside of the door off, so you can thread the wire through to the cabin. (through the wire bundle between the door and the car)

then its just a matter of picking a place to connect to the turning signal wires. thats up to you. but if you use leds you WILL need a load resistor. search for that... you'll see you can get them from radioshack, cheaper then you can order them. (even in HI)
