adding transmission fluid

Can someone tell me where to add transmission fluid? I've searched the forums and nothing has come up. Is it the little red cap on the drivers side below the power steering?

Yep, that's the place. There is no dipstick and it's not good to put too much in... To check the level the car has to be up in the air, level, engine running and warmed up. There is a check plug where the passenger side driveshaft comes out of the transmission close to the engine. You remove that plug and then add trans fluid until it starts to leak out. Not a fun job...

If you are at 100K your trans is due for a filter change and fluid refill. Most people will have this done at a shop where they have the proper tools and experience. The whole oil pan on the trans has to come off to do the filter, usually a messy process. Good luck!

^^ and it's an 11mm bolt.

I've checked my own, it was pretty easy, but I was working part time at a shop back then and I used a lift
