No not yet. I'll need to get better tires and some time to get to the track.

not sure where you at in NC but i know there is a track in fayetteville. i spent 3yrs at fort bragg and went to the motorports park often but never raced my ho there since it was mostly stock.

I think that's only 1/8 mile though. There's a 1/4 track in Rockingham.

You got a lot to learn about the 2.4L Twin Cam engine. The GM supercharger is not the only method of increasing its potential. Its power is limited @ stock version but the Twin Cam can be a beast if you do your research and learn about the QUAD 4

To respond to your comment I know there is a alot of other stuff you can do to the 2.4 or quad 4 other than the supercharger. I'm not trying to be smart I'm just speaking my mind. This thread wasn't intended to be I know everything about the 2.4 thread. I may seem like a newb but Ive been using this site like everyone for many years. I just never said anything on the boards. Yeah I know about the secret cam swap and all that other crap. I have a lot of love and respect for you guys just don't think I'm clueless and dumb.

cool yeah im not trying to be smart with you either. Im currently rebuilding my HO and tonight I will begin tearing the motor apart to the bare block as soon as i get the dam engine hoist back. At my work there are nothing but HONDA freakz and they dont know jack about a Quad so im going to teach them a little lesson about our 2.4L motors. But anywayz what do you plan to do on the exterior(body) of the HO. You should probably go OSV since you already got the GM supercharger. But i have to say again your HO is deff. a sleeper

Well as for my car I'll probably keep the stock look. I was going to get some racing rims and tires but these roads are really bad around here. I think it would be a bad investment. I'm more about go than show anyway. I have a general rule for myself. If it doesn't make my car faster I'm not putting it on. If anything in the future I will do interior weight reductions and maybe get a carbon fiber hood. As for future mods I want to get the pacesetter header, full cat back exhaust, balance shafts removal. Other than that I really don't have any other future plans. Well take care and be sure to let us all know when the Rice-arooni has been cooked.

Ive burned a few civics, 2 delsos, and 2 bubble eye intergras just with a intake and no cat. So when im done i hope to burn my friends stang. Im looking for bigger fish to fry. Hondas are to easy But you should plan to invest in some good performance tires for better traction. I also plan to put my car on a diet: no back seat, no carpet, carbon fiber seats, no spare tire, maybe even some custom fiberglass doors and fendors. But first get the engine rebuilt

you should definately get some exhaust mods done. With boost runnin through that motor it will really respond to a header and exhaust system. Good review, cant wait to see some slips.

My thoughts exactly. I heard this supercharger really loves breathing. I plan on getting the pacesetter header and cat back exhaust to let my engine breathe better. I believe after that I should be in the 200whp range or more, which I think would be completely sick for a 2.4 Alero. After doing those two bolt on mods I want to do the balance shaft removal to really unleash the LD's power. Even after all those mods I will keep the stock look on the outside. Grace is going to be a super sleeper.

if you are getting exhaust work done i would have the place by walmart off skibo rd do it. i cant remember the name but its on the little road that connects bragg blvd to skibo on the walmart side of the skibo. if that makes sense. they did my first exhaust and do good work for a good price. i paid $250 out the door for a custom catback to include the pipe, muffler and tip.

Wow Jackal I think I'm going to have to check that place out. Those prices sound more than fair for the price. Maybe I can get the header work and catback exhaust done all in one day.
