first off its factory.. aparently the slides for the sunroof are off... the left side works totally normally with the panel off.. but the right side doesn't go all the way forward and down in the seal position

well heres the other part of it.. the right track goes back farther than the left track.. so i think they got outta alignment .. how. i don't know... but i know the stealership i got my car from said to me that the detailer was cleanin the car and he apparently knocked the moonroof off the track.. but put it back into place.. apparently not since they are outta line... but yea

You might have to try a little force but I would still check the tracks to make sure they are clear of debris. Also lube it up. It always helps

I'd pull the headliner down and see whats going on with the tracks. I wouldn't try to force anything, it could cost more than if you just do it right and take it apart to see what the problem is. You can see in the picture what your you would be getting into. The bitch is getting the headliner out of the damn car.

lulz oh god we are a bunch of dirty fools !
Actually man.. i went the right way.. apparently the stealership left the friggen bolts on the Moonroof motor friggen loose... and apparently it caused it to go outta alignment.. but i got another question... does anybody have pics of how far the panel opens up fully.. wanna check that out to make sure mine is.. it looks like its fully opening to GM Specs
