Trac off

I installed an intake off ebay.
i plugged in the vacuum line that went from the valve cover to the intake ( this doesnt really do anything so i know this isnt it)
then i plugged in the little black wire that goes from right near the fuel line to the intake.
BUT then there was maybe a sensor? that was plugged inside of my old plastic intake, but I did not put that into the new intake. (there was a hole for it but the other half to where i plug it into was left in the plastic intake)

Anyway i turn on the car and its fine. Then i take it for a drive and max out the rpm to hear the intake. A few seconds later my trac off light goes on and my shifts are really hard.

I have the 2.2 eco auto

Any ideas?

Yep. It just simply pops out of the old one. If there is no hole for it in the new intake you must drill one and get the right sized rubber grommet and stick it in there. Once you do that your good to go.

alrite so i got it back in the new intake and went for a 3 minute drive and it still hasnt gone off. If i were to drive it tm (10 miles to school and 10 miles back) what would be the possible dangers?

try starting the car and letting it run 3 times (for like 30 secounds). Then if that done work undo the ground on the battery for 10 minutes. Good to go

It will take about 10mins, also if their is a space for the line from the valve cover use it.
