cooling down time?

Hey guys just a curious question, last year around this time i was getting ready to change the "LIM" i noticed last summer that i would turn the car off at 10pm by 3am the car was still hot so ive noticed it hasnt been cooling down as quick maybe its just me im just confused any of you guys now how it cools down

try leaving the hood open?
