Shit, that's something I'd like too. How much does a setup like this one cost? How would you go about doing this? or would you have to get it done at a shop?

actually, if you want to spend about 100 more they have a dual one at crutchfield.com that's a flip-out... I've pretty much decided on that one... It's pretty much got everything I would need/want in one (aside from gps that is)

i'm glad you guys like my setup. i'd be interested in selling this one if the price was right. if you want to make an offer, send me a pm. i would need your stock interior pieces as a core, tho. i'll be home on leave in april. if someone wants to purchase if from me, i could send it out to you then.
there are some build pics of it in my cardomain site
www.cardomain.com/shortyspunk99
i'm going to be making a new setup, so i'd sell this one as is. it's not perfectly smooth everywhere, but it definately worked well for me. my new setup will have a screen that turns on automatically, instead of pushing a button to turn it on and off. the controls for the screen are hidden in my center console right now, but i'm thinking of relocating them to the blank piece where the cupholder used to be.
if there is enough interest, i could start producing these for people. but, you would have to wait until september for me to start building them.

as for the neons, i'll be getting rid of those. i'm trying to get away from the ricy stuff. all about a clean looking car to me.

if i don't have anything on the screen, i just don't turn it on.
the stereo functions regularly, but also plays dvd's. so, you have to buy a dvd headunit to go with it. but you can pick one up for pretty cheap.
