Magnaflow Exhaust?

a friend told me that the Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust for a 96-04 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L / 2.4L 4Cyl. will fit on an alero. is this true? if so, does it go on perfectly or do u have to do stuff to it. and if it wont fit, what exhaust will?

no, that won't fit. the pipes are routed totally differently. however, just a header will fit.

borla will fit but they stopped making them.....
an slp will work as well....
you could go with a flowmaster 80 series like some of the guys on here.... not too sure what all you need for that though......

i guarantee you that any catback system for a cavalier will NOT fit. not borla or slp.

i think he meant the borla cat back and slp cat back for the Alero would fit. and that alot of people on here have used the flowmaster 80 series.

To answer the original question, no...any cat back exhaust for a cavy or any other car besides an alero or a grand am will not work on an alero. But if you want a magnaflow exhaust (i have a custom set up) you can go to any exhaust shop that bends their own pipes and have your own setup made as well.
