Not new here but about time i indroduce myself
Hi everyone, by no mean's am i new to this fourm ive actually been lurking around this fourm for quite some time now, and have found it usefull on many occasions, and from what ive seen its a great community to be a part of. I've had my alero since feb 2010 and let me tell u it's been a love hate realationship, but with all the trouble its given me I'd be saddened to give it up. It's Nothing more than a stock 2003 2.2 coupe with no mods other than a new kenwood deck and kicker ks's all around. But thats not to say nothing's been done to it..... when i first got it i repaired the rusty quarters, completly bypassed the passlock system, just about rebuilt the entire front end, and swaped in 2 new fuel pumps, etc. Needless its about time I shared what I know with the rest of you's, cause this form's honestly the reason I still have my alero, its saved me more than once.

Aleros in Europe have fully calvanized bodies, mine has no rust at all on body panels, although I live in the northern part of Europe where they put salt on roads at winter and some car rust like crazy.
Don't you have calvanized body panels?

There supposed to but the coupes are notoroious for trapping road salt and water in the quarters, to the point where the galvinization's useless

I have a full exhaust for the ecotec if your interested in making a drive, id be willing to meet you somewhere. Its everything you need including the downpipe that is fitted for the alero so no fabrication required. Takes about an hour-hour and a half to install depending on how rusty your head nuts are.
Its the pacesetter header, magnaflow high flow catalytic converter, and pacesetter dual outlet muffler. Shoot me a PM if your interested !
