My dad did it himself on his old Dodge Ram. Looked good, but if you get it, you GOTTA make sure you get the bubbles all out.

Tints is one of those things you leave to the pros. Takes times to acquire the skill. For the price, have it done by someone else.

i agree with the others, just get it done professionally. It cost me under $150 to have it installed, and it has looked great for 4+ years now.

Here in EU (Lithuania) it costs about 5o$ to do 100% back and 50% front and it's done profesionally, they give 3 year warranty.

Yeap everyone is right, get it done professionally.
There are so many people around here who try to tint their windows and they f*ck up so bad. I saw one person in a sonata, they tried to tint their windows by making 8 different squares and putting them on one window, overlapping eachother. How stupid do u have to be to do that???? did they think the sheets of tint were all gonna blend together or something?!lol Idiots.
It cost me $200 for all my windows(i have a 4 door) i wish i got mine darker though, i went with 15% on the back and 35% on the sides

I did mine myself with some Gila window tint.
It's a job, lemme tell you. You gotta cut straight and get the windows perfectly clean, and make sure not to crease it when pulling the plastic off and ugh. It's kind of fun to do, and not terribly expensive, but unless you really want to do it for cheap, take on a task, and not mind if there's imperfections, then get it done professionally.
Here's mine:
looks ok when you're a ways away from it, but up close you can see some issues in just about every window.

My old alero I had it done for like $100 all five windows. 35% in the rear and 40% on the side windows. I haven't done the red one cuz Im debating on keeping it for much longer. Do it professionally. My first car came with DIY window tint and it looked like ass. Its a real bitch to take it off too.
