I recently got my 2002 Oldsmobile Alero 3.4L V6 4 door. It has 50,300 kms on the clock, and from what I can see, its going to be a great car.
I am a die hard fan of the Pontiac Bonneville, mainly pertaining to the SSEi model line, as I previously owned one. It was a 1993 SSEi, 3.8L Supercharged. That was my second car, got it 3 months after I got my license, in May 2003. I drove this car until June 2004. It had rust issues under the carpet, I added up my recipts, I actually bought the car twice, 5000 for the car and 5000 on work, parts and labour. But, it was at 253,000 kms, I couldn't of expected much more. Sold that car, miss it alot, more like I miss the supercharger and leather...but thats all good. I then looked at a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, black 2 door 3.4L DOCH. I had it mechanically inspected befor I bought it. This car is mint. Drove it 20 kms and bent a connecting rod, kinda odd considering I didn't even lay into it hard at all, the weather conditions did not allow for it. So now I have a Cutlass in my backyard, runs, KNOCKS beyond anything I've ever heard. Not much I can do, considering it was a "as is" private sale. What I needed was a good car, with a warranty, and something that runs on 87 octane, not 91-94. My parents helped me out to get it, as I have no credit rating, basically, I make my insurance payments and my car payments. Its mine.
I have a few pictures of it that I took after using Liquid Glass pre cleaner and polish. Which was a month ago, its getting time for another coat of Meguiars Gold Class Liquid wax, which, works wonders! So far the only thing I've actually done to the 3400 is add my MSD ignition coils and 8.5mm spark plug wires that I removed from my Bonneville before I sold it off. No performance enhancement, strictly for looks, and yes it looks good! I got a picture of that to.
Anyways, thats kind of a long intro, but oh well
