New Box.
So whats the biggest box you've gotten into the trunk of an Alero?
New box is 16.5"x34"x26" on the out side, I had to remove the latch, take the carpet out and it was still a really bitch to get in. The box is double walled reinforced in the back corners 4 cubic feet. Port is 14"x5" tuned to 42 hz. I should have taken some pictures of the build but O'well. Total cost of building the box was about 150$ and took about 25 to 30 hours.
Crappy video taken with the phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1_hKqFPtys
Here are some crappy pictures that I took with the phone.

It sounds better then the old boxes and I'm sure that its 3 to 5 db louder.
I forgot to say this in the first post, Thanks to Ryan for the help with the numbers. I would have flared the ports if I had the room.

Nice, now ju8st hope you don't have a flat tire at night in the middle of winter. It'll be a bitch to get the spare.

I took the spare out and so if I didn't have road side service, I could just call someone to bring me the spare.
And yes Oldman louder, the neighbor even say that he could hear it better from inside his house and then he asked nicely if I could not turn it up that loud any more.

There wasnt a whole lot of room after that. Too bad I never got to power the subs in the alero, I got the Grand prix a week after building the box.
I just sold my Subs with the box, so I might be running 1 15 in ~4 cubes. I love the grand prix, but it's not as easy to get loud as the alero was.
