Dashboard Disassembly

Ive got a 2001 Alero GL 2.4 and have bought a amp and 2 12" subs. I know hwo to actually run the subs and the amp, I know what I need to do, but its the how to Im worried about, I dont want to just start taking panels off the dash to no avail and maybe losing small pieces I didnt know were there. I need to get to the back of the radio to hook some wires up, anyone know the steps to get to it???

theres tons of how-tos dude.......pull back the shifter into first if you have an auto or just throw it into 4th or something if u have a manual...on the auto pull out the clip holding the shift knob on, then pull off the trim around the shifter.....everything from now on applies to both, the piece around the radio will come off with a little force, just becareful because at the top of it the plastic is thin and will want to break......
