never mind the vents. new subs drown them out.
New PROBLEM
I can hear my trunk rattler form the outside of the car. It's not the tag.
It seems to be where the plastic meats the metal about the tag, in the separtation. If i put my fingers where the bulb is, it stops. If I push on the Alero emblem, it stops. Pressure in either direction seems like it would be effective. Any suggestions on how to acomplish this?

i took off that section and every spot behind it where it could contact, used put some foam weather stripping. but, this isn't a permanent fix. i had no rattles at all for a while (this was about a year ago) but now they are louder than ever. but it will hold you over til u can get mat or just do it again like i'm gonna.

if u just look at your trunk its pretty obvious. there are a bunch of little plastic hook looking things that unscrew for the removal of the sides. just looks for screws and whatnot. use common sense, new or not
edit: once again try google.

What I did to my'n was use 3M double sided foamy tape.
3M VHB tape
Just got it apart to where I could get the tape in there and stuck it on, I also used in on my plate, lol when it comes off its taking some paint.

Well what ever you do, don't do what my buddy did and just put to much door gap tape in there to make more pressure and eff up the seal.

i used those strips of foam you put around doors to seal it. put that on the bottom of the trunk panel... when i put the plastic thing on is was quite tight... rattles alot less now. For the license plate... took it off... put more of that foam around the edges and middle... used 4 screws... tightened it good... no more rattle.
and to stop the plastic thing... took off the plastic clips (they just kept snapping when i put new ones one) so took a metal washer on each side... and a spacer and tightened the shit out of them... and bam... tight connection... i can take pictures if needed... i still need to dynomat the trunk

i took the whole back of the trunk off and put this Raatmat on it(same as dynomat) but it pretty much took away almost all of the rattle from right above the licence plate. and it sounds ok.

i ran into the same problem as i have to 2 12's also.
for the plastic piece thats above the license plate i took it off and put a piece of hushmat (cheaper version of dynomat) on there it made a big diffrence so i would assume it would be better to put 2 strips on there.
for the license plate i also put some strips of the mat on the back with 4 screws no rattling at all.
now last but not least the trunk lid the meets with the rear window.
i once again put the mat on the inside right where it was rattling it didnt stop it completly but it did help. i only put on one piece tho, so obvliosy put more where it is needed.
you will still have rattles here and there but those are the main ones you wanna get rid of for they are the loudest.

afugys 3m tape works like a charm. he was kind enough to let me use some to seal the two pieces together.. completely stopped the rattling. the only rattle i have now is where the back window meets the trunk and the flaps by the gas hole on the inside of the carpet

where the plastic part meets the metal, i took one of the licence plate light screws out and ran a long ass sheet metal screw all the way through the metal behind it an no more rattle
