Thanks "
I should offer him 450 just to call him on his claim.

I sent him this e-mail:
http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/1714819769.html
How about $450.00 ??
I live in the Thornton, CO, / Westminster area.
his reply:

How about you find another set?
This is a STEAL at $600, I'm not even getting what i paid for them back out of the price.
Wouldn't you think someone selling an obsolete part would know what they are dealing with???

Hahaha so this is wat he wrote back
"So, I've had four other people offer me $450 tonight, and I've helped someone like this before with a ram air hood by having people from a fourm email the seller on the item, so I want everyone to cut the shit and stop wasting my time. I highly doubt four random people would make the "same" offer within several hours on the same day, when I've only had one two prior emails on them. The ad says no low ballers. Real effing funny.I'm taking the ad down, and yes I'm sure ill read about this on the site I'm a member on.Stop wasting my time"

lol......
Sorry but $600 Is a steal considering they are obsolete and ( the last company to produce them-) S&S went out of business and the only other company that MIGHT produce them (pacesetter) still has not decided if they are going to proceed with the line when they released the news a year ago. If you can find them NEW for that price, I strongly suggest you take that offer. You can get the flex piece at advance auto for $15. I bought them off a member of a Grand Am fourm a week ago and all shown is what I received. The ad said no low balling so idk why your wasting our time.
Thanks

consider the fact that offering someone perceived market value isn't lowballing.
however, overpricing something is definitely gouging.

The one I received... heineck's beats 'em all.
"Sorry if you don't like the price find them somewhere else if your concerned about this deal. 600 is a good deal for an obsolete part.
Thanks"

i called his bluff, he got a little defensive.......
You are a effing idiot sir. If I were trying to "rip off" my fellow community members, DONT YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE POSTED IT ON THE SITE INSTEAD OF CRAIGSLIST??? There's a reason I stayed away from grandamgt.com. Also, have you ever sold anything on CL? Yeah but put a bufer in the price, and yes that makes me a "lair" but at the end of the day-if my money in MY pocket and not your god damn conmcern! Everyone will low ball on craigs out here on anything posted. effing moron. And, since you checked my personal banking statement, I was more than $435. Not much, but again by word of mouth you look like an ass clown who thinks they know what's up! I need the money, but im not in a horrible position.
You know, its one thing to take someones opinion and make it your own, and another to get the facts.
