New tires.

I got my new Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs today. they are a pretty stout set of tires. rubber compound feels softer/stickier than my Azenis rt615's even cold. i'll hopefully be getting them mounted tomorrow/today, and getting my performance alignment settings done, next weekend i will be putting them to the test on the track.

i also just ordered coil over springs and solid strut braces so hopefully she will sticky and tight.

i'm also still looking for a set[4] used 17" rims.

If I remember correctly, reviews on tirerack said these tires grip so well you actually lose a little mpg. But don't hold me to that-may not be remembering correctly.

She looks beastly, pics of the suspension progress when you do it? Perhaps we could use it as a how-to.

Why so wide on the section width? The Zed One's are grippy like flypaper, but they are fairly heavy, which makes me wonder why you went 20-30mm wider (adding weight).

with the right offset wheels 255s can fit all the way around with no spacers...

yeah 255's will fit on the front with no problem, they just look to bulky. so i stick with 245. 255 on the rear with my rims needs spacers.

i put a bid on those rims kwhauck. if i get them for what i bid it wont hurt.

so why the 245s for the track, why not a 225? I know we run nasa-x rules here and even with 225 it's an additional 5pts or so and with 255s it like 9pts added to bump me up two classes.....
