Leaking Coolant

Well the other day i went to start my car and let it warm up and realized it wasn't warming so i came here for help and put coolant in it... now this morning i went and there was no heat again so i put even more coolant in cause it was and today after driving to work i heard a hissing sound coming from under the hood so i looked and it was coming from right below the throttle body so maybe i have a leak in between my Manifolds?

a hissing sound may be a vacuum leak. if your car is eating coolant but it's not showing up outside the engine, it's probably leaking internally.

check your coolant for anything but nice clear orange color.
check your oil for brown milky substance like a milkshake color.
check oil for being overfilled.
check your exhaust for excessive smoke/steam while running
do you smell coolant once your engine is hot?

i would probably say limg as well... would it be possible that the gasket is bad enough to cause a vacuum leak there? that would also account for the hiss. how many miles are on your engine? and ^ what he said about all the oil checks, that will tell the story.

if your not looking for a problem you might miss a problem. also... oil burning is not a good sign. what makes you think its burning and not leaking? burning oil is when oil goes through the combustion chamber and out the tail pipe. a leak is an external oil leak that can get on the engine and smell like burning oil. theres a big difference between the two. LIMG can cause both a coolant leak (internal and external) and an oil leak.

I also think it's a LIM gasket. Mine also leaked externally and I could idle the engine and watch it leak.

What year and how many miles on it?

I think I broke (probably more like shattered) a record here by finding my leak at around 26K miles. You probably have close to 100K miles like everyone else.
