Glad your ok. I have plenty of parts cheaper then 1,800 only issue is it silver. I see you must be near the Cleveland area? a little over 5 hrs I'd meet ya half way instead of ship since shipping would be more lol

That car is gone.

Part it out for what you can if its even worth it.

In that shape yard MIGHT give you $3-500 for it... What will you get parting it? A headache and people wanting a single piece of plastic for $3 shipped.

Yes I am bitter.

lol

I would have hit the nursing home. You might have been doing a favor for a lot of people...black humor-apologies.

I had very similar damage to my last alero, not as bad though, and it was about $5000 to fix it, but I needed a new rad.

I've done worse and fixed it myself for not much money. I just pulled out the radiator support and replaced the bumper, grill, hood, headlights, and one fender. It was not difficult.

Lots of pics here:
http://www.feoa.net/modules.php?name...wtopic&t=41207

I also repainted it myself, but the car in question is a beater so I used Rustoleum and my Harbor Freight compressor and paint gun.

I have heard nothing but bad things about tiburons, from friends, customers, everyone, they are quite unreliable, a lot of suspension and a lot trans problems.

As much as i hate to promote Honda, I do drive one, and as far as an 01 accord, i have a buddy with one, and its a really nice car and he's got over 200k on his. It wouldn't be my first choice, but that sounds reasonable for sure.

my buddies girlfriend has a tiburon 03 GT. sucks in snow. and ALL tiburons have the same problem... after awhile it will grind into 3rd gear. and be hard to shift it into 3rd. if its a manual... not sure about the autos.
