Yeah really ! Not everyone has money to throw into a nice exhaust system on their car, they have more important things to put money towards.

and being on the budget im on, id rather get an slp muffler and just throw some custom pipes on my car and call it a day. way cheaper then 800 on a borla

lol...i know this....i was like that once too...which is why i bought the pacesetter for like 250...then i decided i wanted quality and bought the borla....around here you cant trust car places...i dont trust one to weld up a nice exhaust for me so id rather spend the extra money to have the security of knowing i dont have a hacked up exhaust. Go your route...thats a good idea.

if you want a nice growl start with a CAI....that will give you a nice throaty sound....then go to exhaust.....then headers....thats what i did....each time it sounded even better. The pacesetter was 2.5in and it was LOUD....the Borla is 2.25 and it got a little quieter but after it broke in....NICE growl....cant wait to get the 3500 in....its gonna sound nice and actually be FAST!

Problem is i can't find a borla system to deliver to Canada :S I was hinking about putting a 3500 into my Daily driver Are you rebuilding yours ?or did you just buy it somewhere?
