Throttle Bypass?

Hey
I was browing through ebay for Alero stuff and found this unusal thing. It is called a Throttle Body bypass. I've never heard of such a thing. From the info I got about it is that you make the two hoses that go into the throttle body and just hook them together to bypass the hot coolant going into the throttle body. It says it will give you better acceleration and/or torque. Is this stuff really true? Just wonderin' what you guys thought.

if you get that, make sure you also get an engine oil bypass kit.... keeps your oil nice and cool.

also.. if you buy both at once, they throw in free headlight fluid.

I asked a very similar question when i was new to the site. I believe it was redog and blackjack that gave me an answer that wasnt sarcastic. You can make your own bypass kit. According to whoever it was that gave me advice about this bypass kit, its not really worth the money. It doesnt give you a noticeable gain if any.

^^ Your not a ricer

Headlight fliud is a magical gel that makes the headlights brighter, and the car much faster, about 15 horsepower per headlight. If your car has 4 headlights, that's 60 HP!!!! But on a Civic is adds 75 HP
