Front Suspension Knocking Noise????

Hey guys I'm getting a knocking noise coming from my front end in the suspension somewhere on my 2000 Alero with around 180,000 miles on it. Its like there's something loose under there and its knocking/thumping around. Can hear it at all speeds between 10 and 60 mph both under a load and while coasting. Gonna get it on a lift this afternoon but was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and was able to figure it out. Thanks.

re

Sounds like the shocks? If you rock the car up and down do you hear the noise?

Uggggg...........my bad! When I was chasing the stupid coolant leak on the passenger side and had the wheel off and pulled the wheel well liner out to see up in there and then put it back togehter, I didn't torque the lug nuts of all things! The wheel was rocking around due to the loose lug nuts. Talk about feeling REALLY dumb! Thanks for the suggestions though. I've got to find that flippin coolant leak still.

Yeah mine did too the last time I replaced it. Split right at the seam. The problem now is that there is no residual anywhere near the tank or waterpump.
