That is outstanding, I'm going to buy that right now from GM.

I'm removing mine because I never use it anyway. Why did you remove yours? One more question...by removing it the supercharger will run more efficiently right?

I didn't remove mine yet. I'll likely have a shop (Speed Industry probably) swap it out for me. My A/C has been dead for over 2 years. My A/C clutch has issues and sometimes scrapes and sounds HORRIBLE and can be putting drag on the engine.

Technically, on a good functioning system, removing the A/C compressor will do nothing but remove weight. In my case, I worry about the drag it may be causing on the accessory belt, and of course the horrific noise it makes if it scrapes.

Good deal. Thanks for all your help so far. You've been a lifesaver. I'm hitting the sack for the night. Gotta be at work at 4 am, not looking forward to that considering it's 11pm right now.
