Here ya go.

Oh snap!!

Jturkey (last I know of) has my pair, we traded some crap back in Aug and I threw these in because I didn't want them and didn't want to bother shipping, etc.
Talk to him if you wanna try and fix em (he's selling his Alero, I guess), he'd probably sell them to ya.

It's a shame, I really liked them... the 2 days I had them on.

Hehe, so are you planning on getting a pair of them?

I suppose I should comment on fit, aswell.
The driver's side went on verrry nicely, all the slots to get the bolts in by the door jamb fit nicely, and same with the two bolts hidden under the front of the rocker panel. From there one just needed to drill 4 holes (IIRC) for the 4 underhood bolts. I was hesitant to tighten them down all the way the first night torelieve the gap near the top of the hood (that tab was slightly warped up), however I have them about a 1/4 turn per hour and left them settle and they WOULD'VE made it down tight had the car lasted another day or two.
The front line between the fender and bumper don't line up because I didn't add those bolts in, there was a forbidden kit only a couple weeks away so I didn't see the reason to mount that up.

The passenger side fit the same, but the trailing edge sat too tight up against the front of the door. You can see on the driver's side how the gap gets smaller above the pinstripe, well on the passenger side it actually butted up. That would've been a simple fix, but again, didn't get a chance to do it.

They're plenty strong, too. They still had pretty good structure after the accident, and they're nice and thick.

I'd definetally recommend them. ;D

I'm definitely interested in them. Not so much the "razor" part of them with the "vents"... if anything, I'd probably do my own thing to them. What I'd likely do is get the original set, and make a mold out of them, than FG my own based on these... replacements... but, by the end of the body, I'm hoping that the front end will be completely fiberglassed. I'm just a day away from sending Rodney the money for his Kato kit, and after Christmas vacation, likely to start on the mold for the hood.

A couple of suggestions and ideas have come up, one of which was pretty interesting from a guy I used to do a lot of racing with (road course, not 1/4 mile). He had a 92 Mustang, and an 02 Civic... both of those cars had a one piece FG front end. Would I do that? Likely not, but, he suggested doing either the front bumper and hood as one piece, or the entire front end as one piece. It would be different, and something interesting, but for a vehicle that wont be going through the paces of what he puts his through, I really don't see the justification behind making the front end one FG piece...

But, yeah, like I said, likely to get all 4 parts to the front end individual FG pieces.

I know from a car show about 2 years ago I met someone from Kentucky that had a Grand Am with the front as a one piece fiberglass. It hinged from the front but didn't get pictures. If I ever see it again I will get pics to post up.

I found some pics of the Grand Am I was speaking about. Not very good but that was all I could find, hope that helps with ideas.

I like it, but the main concern I have - making it all one part, if something were to happen (Ie., crack, break, anything...) thats a big part to be either fixing or replacing...

I'm also beginning to throw ideas on how I'm going to be making the hood. As I want it to have a functional off-center scoop over the location where the airbox used to be, it's now figuring out how exactly to make it look good, and at the same time, make it in such a way that it wont be cracking (Ie., how exactly am I going to make it? All metal on a metal hood, fiberglass on a metal hood, an all fiberglass hood...).

That may be a valid concern... But before you worry about that, worry about whether or not you ever actually receive the product you ordered from Andy's.

We're fast approaching the 8-month mark for me. Hopefully my fraud claim goes through soon.

This discount, just to be sure, we have to call them up, say "HI! I'm a VIP member of Aleromod, 20% off!"? or is there something else to it?

I asked if there were any discounts for AleroMod folks, and he had no idea what I was talking about. It was all-around a pretty bad experience for me.
