Thumbs up

I have a 01 Alero and I have had to bring my car in about 4-5 times so far since I bought her in October. They first replaced the brake pads and rotors. They then replaced the Brake Calipers. Not to mention that they are still not working efficently. Now I am having problems again and she is going back in the shop this week. Now my ABS light, Service Vehicle Soon and TRAC off lights are all on. They have been on for about 4 days. Has any one else had any problems with their brakes in their Aleros? Thanks!

Usely those lights come along with the very common and expensive replacement of the hubs.

I love that last question you asked. That is just TOOO funny! Welcome to the site and YES, most of us here have had brake problems with these cars. Gm used cheap rotors and brake pads, and if you had the dealer do the work, then you got the same crap put back on. If you get warped rotors again, just use NON Gm parts next time. The lights you have tend to point to the hubs or the speed sensors located in the hubs. So either way, you may have to replace a hub this time. Sorry to hear about your consistant trips to the shop.
