Wonder how much a shop is going to charge for that job?

^ oh that's not that bad if you got to get it done, but I wouldn't pay more then 50 a bearing.

Well its $60/hr labor across the street from me.

Im guessing here, but I bet they can get it done quicker than 2 1/4 hours... The mechanic over there is really good and fast.

Ok someone can kick me in the nuts.

After my good luck with the fuel treatment I was like "Man I should fill my tires to capacity and get better fuel mileage".

So one front tire was 19 Lbs, the other 21 Lbs...

I inflated them to 32-33 Lbs.

No more bearing noise. No more brake drag noise.

WTF.

spinalator is on a distinguished road
To sum up, should we expect about 66% success rate when buying from EBay vendors with these items, or should we just by from NAPA or other big box autoparts store that have quasi-OEM stuff?

Well I think you take a chance.

Bottom line is the cheap bearings are not as good as the Timken or SKF branded ones, period. They are not made as accurate, the material isnt as good and the fits may not be as good either.

They might not last as long.

If your in a pinch financially I would order the cheap ones. If you got some extra cash get the better stuff.
