how many miles per gallon are you guys getting? city/highway? mods? miles per tank? when do u fill up? on my new alero its a little under 1/4 so i should be filling up soon? the fuel gauge seems really good on it, my Z28 was so bad when it read 3/4 i literally had 1/4 of a tank left.

I used to get 32mgp highway easy, more if I was nice to it. Then I moved to Detroit where the highway is slower than city. Now I'm getting 20-25mpg combined, depending on the construction.
I have no mods, and I never keep track of miles/tank, I fill up when it's cheapest. I've also run it over 50 miles past the gas light and still had a gallon left. I don't recommend it, but don't flip out when you see the light. Although it's easier to burn up a fuel pump if you run it empty all the time, so it's not the best idea.

haha thats funny about the gas light, my dad was always telling me that before on my cavalier I let never put gas in it till about 30 miles after the dummy light, it came on so many times that it eventually burnt out and stopped comming on, causing me to run out of gas twice before I learned to fill up after so many miles lol. Now I always go buy the trip meter instead of the actual fuel gauge.

Daytona is on a distinguished road
I avergae anywhere from 21 to 24mpg depending on the kind of trips I'm doing, and my car is 100% stock with the 3.4L Auto. My gauge comes on @ 1/8 tank.

I usually get 300 miles a tank. Not too bad I guess for just a thermo and CAI. planning on putting the TB and manifolds soon tho.

Average 30-32mpg. I have a CAI just converted to WAI so I'll have to see if there is any change. Also have the powerstat thermo and new plugs/wires. I drive mostly country roads and I play nice to the engine usually.

I have gotten 43mpg with the wind on highway. Out here everything is flat and straight. Usually average 38 though. In town its at about 16 cause I drive it hard. These figures are on the 3.4L too.

I have the 2.4 and I know my light comes on when the needle is just above the E line.

I can drive from Austin,Tx to Wisconsin on 3 fill-ups...so I don't know how many miles.

City driving I fill up usually once a week and I drive 30 miles back and forth to work but I usually drive slow.

I used to get 18 mpg commuting to school (combination of backroads and city driving). After I installed my CAI with the K&N filter, I jumped up to 24-26 mpg for the same commute. On long trips, I get about 30 mpg. Oh yeah, I have the 3.4L, by the way. I have been all the way down to about 1/8 to 1/16 of a tank and have never seen my light come on!
