how is it stripping to a smaller size... if its striping... and you can fit a smaller size on it... then you were using too big of a size in the first place.

doesn't matter what way he's pulling the handle. he might be right or left handed... he needs to make the plug turn counter-clockwise.

i don't suppose the plug is accessable to a vice grips?
anyway... what is the "proper" size for the plug? are you telling me it is completely rounded now? casue if you were using the correct socket size, there in so way that the nut would round off without the socket cracking.

when you get a socket on there, and its snug... tap the end of the handle with a hammer. don't wail on it, but give it a good firm tap... repeat until your arm is sore.
if its rusted in place, tapping will break the rust

Should have been 5/8" IIRC, if they were the original plugs as stated.

tapping on it when it's already stripped will do nothing but round it off more... dude needs to wedge it on there and find a pipe... either that or take it to a shop. if you can fit the smaller socket on... put it on and hammer it on till it's tight. hammer it on straight tho. then when you have the pipe on there... hold the socket at the head with one hand and slowly apply pressure at the end of the pipe. keep the socket straight and rigid and don't let it fall off plug

Man I think I feal relieved myself.... IDK what you were gonna do with a plug that is already broken on top(cant connect the cable), and on top of that Stripped and wont come out, means that you almost needed a new head?
BTW congrats lol, its finally over.
