ITB's anyone?

So the question is has anyone on here done ITB's cause I'm thinking about doing it! I would use some Honda CBR 1000 ITB's and get a good tune. would sound nasty, anyways.. Input anyone and help if you have done them!

obviously not a LA1 but same concept applys

Where did you find this sir! rep to you!

Though I don't exactly like how the fuel lines were run, that is still rowdy as hell. Was this just a mock up or was it actually ran in a car?

I say if you want to do that kind of a crazy change to your engine, get a turbo, you'll probably get better results anyway.

by nature itb are meant to be used on high reeving engine because of the massive low end torque reduction they produce...... a good engine to get some itb are the mazda klze... look at this, this is what i mean by high reeving...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AACd9...eature=related

It was a one-off setup that Marc from TCE did.
Superdave (from www.60degreev6.com) bought the setup and is fitting it to a built 3500 (which previously made 275WHP in his Cavalier) in a 3rd-gen F-body.

I've done ITB's on two of my cars in the past so the only issue I will have is what to do with the throttle and figuring out a way to get it to only 3 per side insted of just 4 haha

and they dont need to be on high revving engines in theory you will get to "0" inHg much quicker and if done correctly can show a huge difference in midrange tq. Plus throttle response and it would just sound amazing.

^^ If your lucky it would only be 11 hours, I'm having a hell of a time tuning a NA V6

I've seen that set-up on V8 Dragsters and such, never anything smaller

Really it's been a thing for imports and even BMW's, I had some on my old 240 drift car it wasn't terribly hard to tune at all, took around 4 hours street tuning and 3 dyno pulls to get a good WOT setting. Overall the only hard thing about tuning was getting the afr right around 12.5.
