I just bought my best friend's '01 Alero GL with 58K miles and love it! Its turning out to be a great car and it only set me back $5K (I literally stole it).
I realy had no choice. My primary ride was a 1984 Chevy C10 that was 80% restored (I personally did the restoration, body work, engine overhaul)... until Nov. '05 when it was totaled by a head-on collision with a drunk driver. He didn't have insurance and I didn't have collision because the truck's value was too low. The seatbelt was the only thing thing that saved my family from having the worse Christmas ever.
