Front 4x6 Speakers Recomendations

One of my front 4x6s has blown and pops horribly lol. So I have a $50 newegg giftcard and I figure I'll get something off newegg to replace them. I realize newegg does not have the best selection and 4x6s are generally junk anyways, but could somebody give me an idea of the quality of these speakers from newegg?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...3376%3A26 629

The MTX speakers look like decent quality, anybody heard anything about them?

Also, another question: I know people have put 6.5" or 6" speakers or bigger where the 4x6s go... How hard is it to do this? If I were to do this would somebody recommend me some good 6.5" speakers too?

And I have a Pioneer DEH 5800MP headunit with Pioneer 6x9s in the back already because they blew.

Mtx are nice subs, idk about speaker wise, but im sure they are good, out of all the ones on that link on the first page (idk if there are more) but mtx would be my choice.

Also how hard is it to fab up mounts for 5.25" speakers? Is it even possible?

if your wanting to keep the 4X6 id go with kicker or the alpine type s. kenwood exlon arent bad either. if your wanting the best sound drop in a 6 1/2, I had to custom trim a plate for it but its a great improvement.

How hard is it to fab in a 6 1/5 in? Does the door panel have to be modified or just the frame?

it is not hard to make up a mount if you have a couple woodworking tools at your disposal. then it depends how deep of speakers you get. i got big ones so i had to end up cutting out the original speaker grills and covering it with the ones my aftermarkets came with. but that was for some 6.5s

I'm running the new 2011 series alpine type R's in mine, they have a much smaller magnet so it made it easier. I got a 2" thick mounting plate and just trimmed it down as needed until it would drop as far in as possible w/o hitting the window. Then trimmed as much of the access I could off the interior of the door pannel (there's a lot) and after lining it up good it clears everything and pumpes out much better sound. I have pics of how I cut the mounting plate on my car domain.

I bought the Pioneers that fit the car at Best Buy. I bought them about 6 years ago so IDK if they still make them. The bracket did have to have a tab broken off to fit in the door, but it's all good

^ If they were on newegg.com then I would go with something really nice, but I have a $50 newegg gift card that Im trying to use towards some decent speakers.

What are some good 5.25" speakers or 6-6.5" speakers from newegg?
