Thumbs down

first I'd like to ask a Moderator if this can be made a STICKY, thanks!

ok, now that I got your attention what I want to know is...

How many people would be interested in buying this EXACT same spoiler that came from the GA SC/T CONCEPT!!!?

This is not the same as the regular SC/T spoiler, it's longer and sits a little higher of the trunk, but not stupid high!

I won the auction for the original and have found a place that is willing to make a mold from it and produce this for us, (actually for you guys :P ).
They said they would like to have around a dozen buyers (or more of course).
The mold would take about a day to make and they can produce them at a rate of approx. 5 a day, so it wouldn't take long to make a bunch.
I'm not sure exactly what the cost would be, but before I get too involved with this I'd like to get some feedback as to who would be serious in buying one...
(if the price is right, of course!)
Once I receive the spoiler I'm gonna bring it to them so they can see it in person and give me a price estimate (expecting it next week, hopefully)

If any one is serious/interested about getting one reply here or PM me.

If you have any questions I'll try to answer as best I can.
peace

Would it fit into the holes used to mount the stock spoiler?

I haven't actually received the spoiler yet, but as soon as I do that will be the first thing I'm gonna check.

LOL, I always thought due to yourname you shoulda been from scarborough, then I was just reading your sig and noticed you live in Scarborough. I'm from Markham, now in Toronto.

You ever hear of grandsontario? Its a site dedicated to grand ams and grand prixs (and their twins) and we meet at Kennedy Commons Tim Hortons every weds and fri.

Anyway, I posted this potential group buy there, and since there would be no shipping, I bet you could get a lot of local people interested off of that site.

I'd be interested (pending price, of course) if and only if the posts that mount to the trunk are finished and not that retarded black plastic.

^^^Agreed... I would also be interested in this spoiler, but I'd like to know if it would mount in the stock holes, too. That would be a major plus!

^ I've been lookin around for rear shots of a stock alero spoiler, but it looks to me that they are not in the same angle.

lol... from what I can tell from pics is you could probaly make this use your existing holes if you just move the mounts...that being said, when they are reproduced I will make sure they dont attach the mounts to them and you could put the mounts in place so you can use your existing holes.
Also on grandamgt.com they would like to be able to get the same mounts as the use now (like on the orange one 2003) if this is something you would like aswell, I will ask the guy if he could make them too. He does amazing work, wish I had pics of his truck to show what this guy can do without molds, I'll try and get some tomorrow.

I have this posted on other sites aswell so if I get enough people together for them to start reproducing them, I will let you know along with a price and any custom work on mounts.

I'm out, gotta get some ZZZzzz...'s workin the graveyard shift
peace!

If the mounting posts are solid, finished rather than looking like park-bench mounts, then I'm interested in knowing the price for the project.

I'm definatly in as long as the price isn't to high, and if we can get better mounts and the factory holes could be use that would be a huge plus!
